The Reader’s Interview: Hardware and Coil

With so many different products on the market that it can be confusing to pick the best one. We’ve put our reader’s questions to the experts to find out the answers for you. What’s the hottest Kits on the market at the moment? There are many kits out at the moment that people are raving about. From the Smok Mag Kit to the Vaporesso Switcher. The one that everyone seems to forget is the Freemax Firelord Kit. This 80w Mod with the Firelord Tank is simple and looks fantastic. Freemax has been around for a number of years and were starting to become a major player before TPD hit them. They’ve finally realised it was here to stay and released their tanks in 2ml.
The Mod itself comes in a resin finish which helps to give it that slick look. It takes a single 18650, which you may think does not give you enough power. However, vapour production is surprisingly more than you expect. The Firelord Tank also comes with a buildable deck (yes for free!), so it lets beginners who want to try their hand at building an opportunity to do so. However, if they don’t succeed they can always just buy the coils.

What device would you suggest for a beginner? Different people have different expectations from a device so there can be many answers for that question. Most go for a choice between the Smok Vape pen 22, Vaporesso Solo or the K3 Kit. However, Innokin seems to have mastered this market, T18E, T22E, Pocket MOD and more. Innokin were truly the masters of this domain. However, then came the Aspire Zelus kit; it was a game changer. The 50w device with the Nautilius 2 tank is any beginners dream; durability, affordability and enough power to get you started. What would you suggest as a good Mod if you wanted something light and easy to use? For those that wanted a lightweight durable Mod there was little choice a year ago; you could choose from the Tesla Wye and that was about it. GeekVape’s Blade Mod is a nifty bit of kit with its dual battery function which can take 3 types of batteries; 18650, 20700 and 21700 and powers up to 235W. Its lightweight (only 112g) and made from aircraft grade material. It also has 3 fantastic colours to choose from, matt black, crystal sand and starry night. Overall a very good choice. Vapor Storm released their Puma Mod late last year, without much hype as not many people have heard of them. Over the last few months they have become more popular due to their dual battery with powers up to 200w. They’ve also received an extensive amount of good feedback about their amazing unique designs. Over all this has to be my top choice not just for its performance but also for its look.
